What is Cloud Optimizer?

Cloud Optimizer is a web-based application that combines 3 different cloud solutions.

  • Amazon Web Service (AWS)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Cloud Optimizer is an application in which we record the cpu, memory, network and disk data of servers hosted in cloud systems on a daily basis, then process this data in Machine Learning APIs and generate prediction data.

Advantages

  • It offers 3 different cloud solutions together.
  • CPU, memory, network and disk data of monitored servers can be kept forever. (Cloud solutions keep this data retrospectively for 3 months)
  • Since data can be kept for 3-5 years retrospectively, it provides the opportunity to compare certain periods of the year. For example, the activity in November for E-Commerce sites.
  • It allows you to optimize server features because it shows your server's usage metrics.
  • It provides you with 3 days of forecast data so you are prepared for any situation.
  • Since server access information and files are kept in structures such as Microsoft Key Vault, Microsoft Storage, it does not cause any security concerns.

Working Structure

  • After customers are registered to the system, server access information is recorded.
  • Instances of registered servers are taken and registered to the system.
  • CPU, memory, network and disk metric data of the registered instances are pulled from the cloud solutions APIs and recorded in the system.
  • The recorded metric data is processed by sending it to the Machine Learning API. 3-day predicted data is taken and recorded in the system in the same way.
  • Finally, both metric data and predicted data are compared by showing them together in understandable graphics.
  • Data extraction and processing from APIs for Inctances in the system are done automatically with services that run every 6 hours during the day. In addition, manual data extraction and processing functionality for the desired Instance is also available in the system.
